30 days of fashion & beauty...

A month off work right about now, is on order by the fashion doctor! Well OK, perhaps that is a bit of wishful thinking, but with all the exciting happenings this month - under the wing of 30 Days of Fashion & Beauty - it would just be delish to catch the style wave and cruise on through September clocking up beauty clues on a cross-country car rally...

If you don't remember 30 Days of Fashion & Beauty from last year (or the year before) you'll be in for a delightful surprise when you treat yourself to any of the 35 flamboyant events taking place over the month. Bigger and better than ever before, 30 Days of Fashion & Beauty will include tours of renowned designers' workrooms, chances to meet some of New Zealand’s fashion big-wigs, make-over sessions, exclusive beauty workshops and fashion shows. And here's one I am personally super-excited about: this Monday, September 6 is the date of the coolest clothes swap party ever - The Great Frock Swap - which is being held in Newmarket, Auckland’s fashion capital. There's even going to be the country’s biggest Zumba class so you can shake your body into summer style. Did I happen to mention the special event discounts on your favourite fashion labels??

Walk on in to a professional makeover session, and you might just find yourself the next star of CLEO magazine. The excitement doesn't stop there, either. There's a Pop Up Shop open till the 10th and also chances to win some amazing fashion and beauty prizes, including participation in the CLEO Shop Off with a Farmers shopping spree up for grabs. You can even check out a VIP movie screening of of Picture Me: A Model's Diary - a lighthearted documentary which allows you to see the inside of the fashion industry through the eyes of fashion icons.
