With New Zealand Fashion Week just around the corner, we asked a handful of designers how they are coping with the pressure, what gets them through the run up to the big week and if they can let us in on any secrets...James Dobson of Jimmy D - It's a manic time of year! I still do quite a few hours at our store Children of Vision, so I work on the new collection largely before the store opens and after it closes ­ with one or two full days in the studio a week. Needless to say there are some late nights...the new collection is all mapped out on the studio wall...
